In order to make the stationary engine enter the working state, the engine crankshaft must first be rotated by an external force, so that the piston starts to move up and down, the combustible mixture is sucked into the cylinder, and then sequentially enters the subsequent working cycle. The external force system that relies on this is the startup system.
Almost all automotive engines are currently powered by electric starters. When the drive gear on the motor shaft meshes with the ring teeth on the periphery of the engine flywheel, the electromagnetic torque generated when the motor rotates is transmitted to the crankshaft of the engine through the flywheel to start the engine. The electric starter is referred to as the starter. It uses battery as power source, simple structure, convenient operation and quick and reliable starting.
